This policy describes how CENTAURS, the trading name of CP IKE, a company registered in Greece with its seat in Volos, handles personal information in connection with this website and with enquiries and reservations at the house in Tsangarada, Pelion. CP IKE is the controller of that information under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Greek Law 4624/2019.

What we collect

When you write to the house or make a reservation, we collect what is needed to answer you and to receive you: your name, contact details, the dates and nature of your stay, your preferences, and, where the law requires it, the identity details that every hotel in Greece must record for its guests. When you visit this website, our hosting provider records the technical information that any web server records, such as your IP address, the pages requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Why we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to prepare and honour your reservation, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to run and protect this website. Where you have asked to hear from us about the house, we use your contact details for that purpose and for nothing else, and you may withdraw that request at any time.

The legal basis

We rely on the performance of a contract with you, or the steps you ask us to take before entering one, for everything connected with a stay; on our legal obligations for guest registration and accounting; on our legitimate interest in running a secure website; and on your consent where you have asked to receive news from the house.

Who sees it

Your information is handled by the people who run the house and by the providers that make the website and our correspondence work: our hosting provider, our email provider and, when reservations open, our reservation system. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Where a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, it does so under safeguards recognised by European law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Reservation and guest records are kept for the period Greek tax and hospitality law requires. Contact details held with your consent are kept until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr. To exercise any of these rights, write to the house at the address below.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted connection. Information you send us is kept on systems protected by access controls and used only by the people who need it.

Changes

This policy may be revised as the house prepares to open and its services take shape. The date at the top shows the version in force.
